The FCT mandate secretary for Area Council Service Bitrus Lawrence, has announced his appointment as a member of Project Advisory Committee to promote the rights of the original of FCT. According to Lawrence, he said his new appointment has the responsibility of offering strategic guidance on project implementation to maximize impact, provide external expertise on tracking outcomes, facilitate information sharing with stakeholders, promote local ownership and sustainability.

“I’m excited to announce my appointment to serve as a member of Project Advisory Committee (PAC) on the Project to Promote the Right of Original Inhabitants of FCT (Phase 2).



The is a two (2) years project supported the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation through Resource Centre for Human Rights & Civic Education (CHRICED) to promote various rights of the Original Inhabitants of FCT.
As a member of the PAC, part of my responsibilities include but not limited to offering strategic guidance on project implementation to maximize impact, provide external expertise on tracking outcomes, facilitate information sharing with stakeholders, promote local ownership and sustainability, and advise on integrating the interests of Original Inhabitant Groups into program activities.
