All Progressives Congress (APC)
National Secretariat
Abuja, FCT
Sir,
PETITION AGAINST ATTEMPT TO TAMPER WITH THE OUTCOME OF THE APC DELEGATES ELECTION IN BWARI AREA COUNCIL
We, the Concerned APC Youths of Bwari Area Council, write to express our deep concern and dissatisfaction over an unfolding attempt to undermine the outcome of the recently concluded APC delegates election held across Bwari Area Council on Saturday, June 21, 2025.
The election, as widely observed, was peaceful, transparent, and credible, with party members freely electing individuals of their choice as delegates. It was a clear demonstration of internal party democracy and the will of the people.
However, shortly after the successful conduct of this exercise, credible reports have reached us of a sinister plan being orchestrated members of the opposition, specifically Senator Aduda Tanimu Philip and Hon. John Gabaya, the current Chairman of Bwari Area Council, to tamper with the delegates list. Their intention, we have been informed, is to substitute the names of those duly elected with individuals loyal to their personal interests.
We strongly condemn this undemocratic move and view it as a direct attack on the integrity of the APC and a recipe for avoidable crisis in Bwari Area Council. We must make it categorically clear that APC members in Bwari Area Council will not accept any alteration, manipulation, or replacement of the original delegates list.
Such an action will not only undermine the party’s internal cohesion but also provoke unrest, disillusionment, and resistance among loyal party members who believe in fairness, due process, and democratic principles.
We therefore demand the following:
That the authentic list of elected delegates from the June 21st election be preserved and used in the forthcoming Chairmanship Primary Election.
That the National Secretariat of our great party investigate and take disciplinary action against any individual, within or outside the party, attempting to alter or substitute the delegates list.
That the APC leadership at all levels issue a strong warning to political actors, including Senator Aduda and Hon. John Gabaya, who are actively working against the unity and peace of our party in Bwari.
Finally, we wish to state unequivocally that if there is any crisis or breakdown of peace in the upcoming APC Chairmanship Primary Election, these two individuals should be held responsible. They do not mean well for the future of Bwari Area Council or the Federal Capital Territory at large.
We, as loyal and law-abiding members of the APC, are committed to peace and party unity. But we will not sit idle while our votes, voices, and loyalty are sacrificed on the altar of manipulation and imposition.
Attached herewith are copies of the duly signed results.

We trust in your leadership to urgently act and safeguard the integrity of the party’s democratic processes in Bwari Area Council.
Yours faithfully,
Concerned APC Youths of Bwari Area Council
