Yesterday at the Presidential Villa, I met with a PLAN International delegation led its Director of Programme, Quality and Innovation, Helen Mfonobong Idiong.

During the visit, I also invited a teenager, Joy Ogah, to take over my seat as the Vice President for a day and address the nation.

In my remarks, I assured stakeholders and development partners of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s commitment to promoting girl-child education across Nigeria.

We will continue our engagement with PLAN International and explore how the force and strength of government can be brought to bear on your solid advice regarding girl-child education.
