VOICE OF THE MORNING 16TH JUNE 2018
And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish. Mark 4:38.
Three (3) things I will like to say this morning before we go further.
1. Our God is a specialist in the performance of acts that beat the human imagination. Put it this way: God is a creator of events that are contrary to the law of nature.
2. Because God is God, He is the only one that can discontinue, interrupt, and render law of nature or natural principles ineffective.
3. Content determine impact.

In construction there’s what we call Retaining wall. A retaining wall is a structure designed and constructed to resist the lateral pressure of soil, when there is a desired changed in ground elevation that exceeds the angle of repose of the soil.
Our anchor scripture this morning says”… He was in the hinder part of the ship”. The presence of the master in your ship stands as a spiritual retaining wall to absorb every confrontation, molestation and calamity the enemy is waging before you. The masters position at the back or hinder part of the ship is very significant and strategic. The meaning of it is that, in the midst of every storm, you must realize that who is behind you is stronger than what is in front of you. When an antelope have the backing of a lion it can confront an elephant. Hear this and let it be your slogan for this weekend: your BACKING determine your BARKING. The dog bark better when it is at the gate of its house, so equally when you have the backing of the master you can bark at the devil.
In 1Samuel 17 Goliath arose as a storm in the camp of the Israelite, and king Saul who was shoulder and head taller than anybody in Israel flee from him, but when David arrived he demand for heaven backing to contend in the battle and with a sling and stone, empowered for divine assignment David dwarf the giant.
PRAYERS: I pray for you today, that every mountainous situation confronting your life and destiny shall be reduced to its knee before you in Jesus name.
PROPHETIC DECLARATION: I prophesy to everyone trusting God for a shift in dimensions of life and destiny, that whatever terrorize people shall see you and be terrified, in the name of Jesus.
