THE EGYPTIANS SHADOW.
Isaiah 31:1 Woe to them that go down to Egypt for help; and stay on horses, and trust in chariots, because they are many; and in horsemen, because they are very strong; but they look not unto the Holy One of Israel, neither seek the LORD!
Egypt is a place of bondage. And some trust in “Egypt”(their past ) for protection from enemies. Our nation is rapidly being confirmed to the image of the world, with it’s many gods and many stereotypes routine religious path to salvation.
Many are worshipping demonic power, the occultic, pleasure and even death itself. For a very long time, many have pronounce earthly featured witchcraft, the occult, and the demonic. But the greatest idol of all on the scene of the face of the world today is the worship of “man” and “self”.
God is looking for something or someone to silent such kind of people. We need something that will shut the mouth of the gain-sayers today, and it won’t happen with better debaters, loud preachers, superior training programs or loud sound systems. Non of these things are bad or evil(dont miss-concept my opinion,) but the only thing that will do it right is the power of God expressed through a selfless life.
When Moses threw down his favorite old Shepard’s rod, it became a serpent and he literally ran from it(Exodus 4:3-4) things got worst when God said, “pick it up the tail,” Nearly everyone knows that is a foolish thing to do because that leaves you Subject to vulnerable attack of the snake.
It didn’t make much sense to throw down the rod, but it. Made no sense at all to pick it up the snake the tail.
Hear this: in the process of your training trip through the wilderness of relinquishment, never think God is leading you to wrong way or that He’s saying something that doesn’t make sense. It is your TRACK RECORD into POWER.
