Words In Pen – When Life Knocks You Down: Rising Again Stronger – Deborah Danfulani

Life is unpredictable. One moment, you’re celebrating a win, and the next you’re faced with a challenge that leaves you wondering if you should even keep going. It could be a failed business, a disappointment, failed exam, a relationship that didn’t work out, or a job you lost without a notice beforehand.
Here’s the truth, setbacks are not the end rather, they are setups for comebacks.
Think about some of the world’s most successful people. Steve Jobs was fired from the very company he created. Oprah Winfrey was told she wasn’t fit for television. Nelson Mandela spent 27 years in prison before becoming president and many more. These are not fairy tales, they are real stories of people who were knocked down but refused to stay down. Instead, their experience pushed them up.
Question, so how do you rise stronger when life hits hard?
Pause, but don’t quit. It’s okay to take a break, cry, or even feel frustrated. But never quit neither should you live there.

Ask, “What is this teaching me and what am I supposed to learn?” Every fall has a hidden lesson sometimes about people, sometimes about yourself.
Just keep moving. You don’t have to take giant steps; small consistent steps are enough to get you back on track.
Know that falling isn’t failure but remaining there depicts failure.
Just get up, dust yourself off while at the same time reminding yourself that you are tougher than your circumstances.
