People of ‘Kofa Must Go’ a youth organization from Kiru/Bebeji Federal
Constituency of Kano State this morning stormed the premises of the National
Assembly in Abuja, to protest against the suspended former Chairman of
House Appropriations Committee, Abdumumin Jibrin.
The placards with the
inscriptions reads: ‘We Say No To
Jibrin,’ ‘Jibrin Must Go,’ ‘He cannot Represent Us,’ and ‘We Demand
For More Sanctions On Jibrin.’, call for Jibrin’s prosecution.
Jibrin was suspended for 185 days after the members of
the House unanimously adopted the report the committee on Ethics and
Privileges which investigated the allegations of padding in 2016 budget
leveled against Speaker Yakubu Dogara and four other house leaders.
