Just on monday 15th January 2018, a Fulani herdsman was killed in Oke-Ako, Ekiti state. Governor Fayose via his twitter condemned the act and has ordered an investigation to be carried out.
According to him, his position as Governor and Chief Security officer of the state demands that he watches over everyone in the state irrespective of their tribe or state of origin. See his tweets below:
