A Nigerian Airforce helicopter has crashed in Taimi village, Igabi Local Government Area, Kaduna State, early Monday morning. The incident occurred near the Nigerian Airforce Air Training Centre in Mando.

Locals reported the crash to newsmen but the Nigerian Airforce has not yet released an official statement. Emergency rescue operations and investigations into the cause of the crash are underway, with personnel from the Air Training Centre and 401 Flying School securing the scene.
