The Federal High Court has ruled in favor of Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero, declaring that his fundamental human rights were indeed breached.

The court has ordered the Kano State government to pay N10 million in compensation for violating Alhaji Bayero’s rights to personal liberty and freedom of movement.

Additionally, the court has issued an injunction restraining security forces from arresting, detaining, threatening, intimidating, harassing, or otherwise infringing on Alhaji Ado Bayero
