1 Kings 17:1 And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As the LORD God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word.

The appearance of Elijah is the appearance of audacity without lineage or family history or introduction. When prayer is mentioned to every Bible believing person, Elijah must come to your mind. Cause he is a man of prayer and result.
The expected outcome of every prayer is divine intervention. Prayers without answers bring discouragement. No one feels good when his/her prayers goes unanswered.
They begin to wonder whether God does not hear their prayers. Beloved our God is the God that answers prayers. However, there is the possibility of unanswered prayer. Some people keep praying without receiving answers. Why then are some prayers not answered?
There are basic requirements for answered prayers. Until you put them in place your prayer remain Baseless.

1, The attitude of helplessness: until you maintain the attitude of helplessness and humility before God at the place of prayer, your prayer lack effect. Humility is not stupidity rather it is your foundation of authority.(Isaiah 57:15)

2. Clear conscience: Let your conscience be void of grudges, hatred and offences before God and man. James 5:16 says “Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.”
So to live with truck full of grudges in your heart against people or in perpetual bitterness and unforgiveness is to live a close door life to answered prayer.

3. The full assurance of Faith: when Faith is maintained answered prayer is guaranteed. Faith is the currency for divine exchange at the place of prayer. Whatever you are asking God for, ask in Faith and not waver (James 1:6-7) When you waver in prayer, you are a failure before man and cannot receive anything from God. To waver in doubt is to wallow in defeat.

PRAYER: Father I make demand for the grace to maintain a clear conscience before you today at the place of prayer in Jesus Name.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION: I prophesy upon your life today, that the Lord will hear thee in the day of trouble; the Name of the God of Jacob defend thee; He will send the Help from the sanctuary, and strengthen there out of Zion; He will remember all your offerings, and accept your burnt sacrifice.
