I have overseen more than 70 mass burials – Reverend Ezekiel Dachomo tells British media personality, Piers Morgan

Reverend Ezekiel Dachomo, a senior leader in the Church of Christ in Nations (COCIN), has accused the Nigerian government of minimizing the scale of attacks on Christian communities, claiming that political influence from powerful Islamic figures is shaping the official narrative.

Speaking during an interview with British media personality, Piers Morgan, Dachomo said he has personally overseen more than 70 mass burials, some containing over 500 victims killed in a single night. He argued that the situation is far worse than authorities acknowledge.

The cleric also challenged the government’s assertion that Muslims are equally targeted extremist groups. According to him, a fact-finding investigation revealed that Boko Haram was deliberately formed high-ranking politicians to destabilize the country during the presidency of Goodluck Jonathan, who is Christian.

He said these extremist networks intentionally attacked Christian villages, sparking waves of violence, destruction, and mass casualties across several communities.

Dachomo insisted that the country cannot address its security crisis without admitting the true scale and nature of the killings.
