Yesterday Monday 27th march 2017 in Lagos when Sirika addressed newsmen alongside Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, the minister of state for aviation sirika vowed to resign from office if the repairs currently being carried out on the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja runway isn’t completed within the stipulated 6-weeks duration. “I am very comfortable that we will be able to meet the targeted six weeks. We have a guarantee that it will be done. I will resign if the closure of the runway goes beyond six weeks. My reputation is at stake.”
