VOICE OF THE MORNING 24TH MARCH 2018.


THE SOUND AND THE RAIN
And Elijah said unto Ahab, Get thee up, eat and drink; for there is a sound of abundance of rain.
1 Kings 18:41.

Anytime I hear the name Elijah, I instantly feel a goose pimple, because he is my favorite prophet in the old testament. I love his ruggedity and audacity, especially the introduction jingle of his appearance in 1 Kings 17:1 …1 Kings 17:1 …As the LORD God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, BUT ACCORDING TO MY WORD. ” WOW!  again because of the incredible showdown we learnt in 1 Kings 18 when Elijah single-handedly defeated and killed the prophets of Baal and lifted the spiritual and actual drought that hovered over the land of ancient Israel. After three years of shutting down the Heavens of not even single drop of rain the key of his word, the prophet confidently declared again “I hear the sound of the abundance of rain.”
You may not feel like Elijah right now but I believe that God is about to manifest his abundant rain in your life. But the question is; Do you hear the sound of the abundance of rain? Remember Elijah heard the sound long even before the rain. Elijah heard the rain, seven times, as he was praying for rain on top of Mount Carmel. He asked his servant to look for an oncoming cloud, which only at the seventh time did the servant finally saw something and said,  “Behold, there ariseth a little cloud out of the sea like a man’s hand(1 Kings 18:44)
One thing I want us to learn this morning is that, the Spirit realm operate sound not sight. (2 Correct 5:17). The Bible goes further to say, “so then Faith cometh hearing and hearing the word of God”, (Romans 10:17). In other words,  our faith is determined the sound we hear,  Elijah heard a sound that completely contradicted what he saw in the natural realm, yet his ears were in tune with God.
Are you willing to hear the sound of your deliverance, breath through and healing?
So many people are looking at what they see but are not hearing the promises of God! I have learned in the progress of my journey with God that looks can be deceiving, but blessings come as a result of supernatural sound that preceeded manifestation in the natural realm. Open your spiritual ears and hear the sound of the abundance of rain! The rain is here today.

PRAYER: O LORD, open my spiritual ears and let me be receptive to your word today in Jesus Name.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION : I prophesy today that you will hear the sound, that will convey your supernatural harvest of blessings, favour and prosperity that is lodged in your Heavenly account to you,  these years of your life in Jesus Name.
