An open announcement from the management of Twitter says , the social media giant is ready for an open discussion with the Nigerian government. Twitter today tweeted the flag of Nigeria as Nigeria marked democracy day. The social media company also marked the first week its operation in Nigerian was suspended bythe federal government of Nigeria. 

Twitter via her Twitter Public Policy handle, said it has informed the Nigerian government that it is ready to meet to address mutual concerns which is aimed at restoring service in the country.
