Theophilus Tanko Chigudu popularly known as Theotanko, an author & founder of Over a Cup of Coffee has revealed that in few weeks to come himself and his team will be unveiling a world class contemporary Record Label and the artists signed under it. Theotanko, the founder and CEO revealed to us that the Record Label, DREAM CITY RECORDS “in a few years from now with the structure we have put in place and still putting in place, we will be cutting across continents, race and tribes”.

Dream City Records is a hub of good music. Our artistes are tailor made to align with our vision, each with his or her own peculiarity. We aren’t just out to promote art for its sake but to deliver contents of ingenuity with values to be the difference. Of course, our standards are high and it is for this singular reason that every artist under us is carefully selected and have no excuse to live or perform below their maximum expectations. There is no room for mediocrity. As a Dream City act, you live, and breath quality only. We will not be found wanting , even for a second, comprising our values for the sake of certain practice(s) in this industry. We are not interested in coming in to change the game, we are concerned about influencing the game with our values. This will be seen through the dynamic works of our artistes.

In a few years from now with the structure we have put in place and still putting in place, we will be cutting across continents, race and tribes. Our interest in music is across all genres- Rnb, Raggae, Soul, Gòspel, Rock and all African sounds. For the time being we will be focusing on music, dance and spoken words (poetry). We are going to be the one that good artistes will be queuing to work with. In a matter of weeks, we will be officially unveiling our creatives( artistes). We cannot wait to share these geniuses with the world. If we had a choice we would hoard all of their contents for our ears alone but that will be an act of wickedness.
