News got to us that about ten persons have been killed in a renewed attack carried out suspected herdsmen in Dangaji and Ungwan Gajere villages inBirnin Gwari Local Government Area of Kaduna state.
According to reports on media site, Iambestnetworks gathered that the attack started on Friday January 12th and lasted till yesterday Saturday January 13th.
The armed herdsmen stormed the communities on Friday night and opened fire on the helpless indigenes, shooting indiscriminately, and in the process killing about 10 people. He also noted that the gunmen burnt down several houses as the villagers flew into neighbouring communities for safety. The gunmen were said to have disappeared before military personnel rushed to the affected areas.
Lots of families have been displaced and some others injured.
