According to a renowned blogger, PSG and Ivory Coast footballer Serge Aurier,  has been sentenced to
two months imprisonment and fined €600 (£521, $674) for elbowing a
police officer at a Paris nightclub in May.
The
sentence is a suspended two months prison sentence meaning he will
remain free and be able to play for his club pending an appeal.

Aurier
has denied the charges, claiming he was also battered the police man
who approached him to take a breath test, while the police account
states that the defender injured him so much that he had to take the
next day off work.

We’re appealing. Mr Aurier
contests the findings. He’s not guilty and must be acquitted,” lawyer
Claire Boutard de la Combe told reporters.
