Obadiah Mailafia, Former deputy governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and former presidential candidate has apologised for his recent comment on media and also disclosed that he got his information of a northern governor leading Boko Haram from traders in a market.
Mailafia revealed he did not know his comment will go viral, he added that he got the information from “some Fulani traders” in the market; his words were misunderstood and he did not even know he was recorded on video.
Mailafia who noted that he is a fan of President Muhammadu Buhari, and further affirmed that “there are bad people who don’t give him the advice to help him”.
