Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has said clearly that
all the three arms of government – executive, legislature and the
judiciary – are corrupt, saying that the country needs to stamp out the canker worm with vigorous reorientation. He also vowed that the federal
government will not spare any sector of the economy in the anti-graft
war.
Osinbajo, who stated this yesterday in Ado Ekiti during the 2016
convocation of Afe Babalola University (ABUAD) in Ado Ekiti, described
corruption as being “too endemic to be overlooked.”

Osinbajo attributed the high level of
poverty and many other problems bedeviling the country to the direct
consequences of corruption that had permeated every sector of the
economy.
While responding to a request of Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose,
to inject the airport project in the 2017 appropriation bill, the vice
president said the state deserved it, adding that the federal government
will continue to support every project that will fast-track development
in each of the states of the federation.
