The members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) have been urged to stop their campaign for election boycott in Anambra State and obtain their permanent voters cards to participate in the governorship election.

Special Assistant to the state Governor, Willie Obiano on Political Matters, Barrister Chike Ekwenugo, gave the advice in Awka on Friday.
He challenged them to join the electoral process to ensure smooth conduct of the poll.
Ekwenugo, who spoke on a wide range of political developments in the state, described the election boycott plans as an exercise in futility and encouraged them to jettison the idea so as to avert any regrets in the future.
The governor’s aide, who is also the founder and President of the Akpukuodike Fan Club, further pledged his association’s partnership with the newly inaugurated campaign team of the governor to ensure his victory at the polls.
