Microsoft boss, Bill Gates and and wife Melinda Gates have announced that they are ending their marriage after 27 years. They have been married since 1994 few years after she started work in Microsoft.

They made this announcement Monday, May 3 2021, on Twitter.

According to Bill Gates, the couple said that the decision came after a “great deal of thought and work” and that they no longer believe they can grow together as a couple in this “next phase” of their lives.
