 Kaduna State Commissioner for Education, Prof. Jonathan Andrew Nok, who  was the first person in the world to discover the gene responsible for an enzyme which causes sleeping sickness is died this morning.

Nok died at the age of 55 and for now the cause of his death is yet to be disclosed
He was born on 11 February 1962, hailed from Nok  Village in Jaba Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

Truly, Kaduna State has lost one of its best man power. Alot of people have referred to him as a brilliant Commissioner of Education, Science and Technology.
We say that May Prof Nok rest in perfect peace. Its really a great lost.
