The Pan-African Amazon of Public Service Renaissance, Dr Gloria Kudi Ahmed makes History again, breaks her own record, Bags three Awards in one day.

As her name implies, the atmosphere was glorious as Princess Dr. Gloria Ahmed bagged three awards in one day.
In a ceremony graced bydignitaries, families, friends and well wishes, the Princess who is a descent of the late Madakin Mada and District Head of Kurmin Tagwaye, Akwanga Local Government in Nasarawa State was given a Commonwealth Peace Ambassador Prize bythe Commonwealth Youth Federation for her remarkable contributions to the Public Service, good governance and National Development and for being a role model for African Youths.

She also bagged the African Inspiring Leadership Award, 2023 in recognition of her role in championing the course of excellent leadership and enterprise, distinct patriotic zeal towards the youths, grassroot development, nation building and her contributions to humanity, defending the course of the down trodden and commitment to democratic values, processes and practice, an Icon worthy of emulation byAfrican Youths .

In recognition and appreciation of her strong commitment and enormous uprightness, excellent and diligent service to humanity and immerse contributions to societal transformation and community development for sustainable economic development, the National Association of Nigerian Students, (NANS) conferred her with the title of Ambassador of the Nigerian Students.

While speaking, her friends called her an Amazon who believes in diligence and hard work, with Excellence as her watchword, a diamond who has gone through the process of fire and purification to attain the height she is today.
Her staff described her as Glorious, Lovable, Outstanding, Reliable, Intelligent and an Achiever which is the acronym of her name (GLORIA).
The Permanent Secretary, Budget and National Planning, Dr. Nebeolisa Anako, who was represented bythe Director, Information of the Ministry, Mrs. Boriowo Folashade, said during his speech that the triple award is well deserved as Dr. Ahmed is a very dedicated and hardworking staff, and prayed that she stands not just before mere men but before kings.

Princess Dr. Gloria Ahmed is a multiple Award Winner who has clinched several international and local Awards in the past with an Honorary Doctorate degree in Humanities and philanthropic Services from the Great Achievers University in the United States of America, 2019 in recognition of her benevolence and selfless service to humanity.
Well wishers prayed these triple awards will not be her last.

A quick insight into the life of Princess Ahmed shows that she is from a notable family and has enjoyed the privilege of experiencing life all around the country; while growing up and schooling in different parts of Nigeria courtesy of her late father’s military postings which must have given her a broader perspective to life, she is a true Nigerian who embraces everyone regardless of tribal or religious affiliations.

She is the Director, Special Duties in the Federal Ministry of Finance, Budget and National Planning, which doubles as the Secretariat of the National Economic Council (comprising of the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as the Chairman, 36 Governors in Nigeria and the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) as members, including some Ministers as co-opted members).
She is the National Coordinator, Open Government Partnership(OGP), Nigeria, a global initiative which promotes transparency, accountability, citizens participation and inclusivity towards good governance in Member Countries. The OGP Secretariat also houses the State Fiscal Transparency, Accountability And Sustainability ( SFTAS ) Secretariat, which is a World Bank intervention designed to support Nigerian states implement a Fiscal Sustainability Plan.
She is also the Chairman, Public Participatory Budget Advisory Group, implementing the Fiscal Openness Accelerator Project (FOA) in Nigeria, with support from the Global Initiative for Fiscal Transparency (GIFT) and International Budgetary Partnership (IBP). A former member, Board of Trustees, Human Rights Commission, Abuja.

While speaking, Dr. Ahmed encouraged everyone to be diligent, hardworking and add value to whatever they do, so as to make the world a better place. She said Nigeria is a blessed country with beautiful climate, flora and fauna, intelligent people and rich cultural diversity which should indeed be an asset to the Country. She implored the citizens not to give up on Nigeria “as this is our only home” she emphasized, She urged everyone to put in effort into Peace and Nation building “as our little effort would go a long way to make the Country a better and more comfortable abode for everyone” she said. In conclusion, she reiterated that various peoples of the world built their beautiful countries, “Nigerians will build Nigeria so let’s join hands together to make this happen she added.
