Today the Edo state Governor Godwin Obaseki finally joins the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP). This is coming after he was disqualified from APC. Remember the leadership of the former APC chairman Oshiomole disqualified the incumbent Governor during the screening for APC primaries.

The incumbent Governor Obaseki on his offical Facebook page wrote:

I have officially joined the Official Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Nigeria to advance my ambition to seek re-election as Governor of Edo State.

I, as always, remain committed to engendering good governance and sustainable development of our dear state.
