Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed, this morning, asked God to guide Nigeria through as she goes through some ”interesting times” politically.

Lai Mohammed offered the opening prayer at the Federal Executive Council meeting, FEC, this morning. The meeting which is being preisded over President Buhari, has in attendance Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Ministers and other top government functionaries. 

The Minister’s prayer comes amidst the gale of defection in the ruling party, APC. Just yesterday, Bukola Saraki and Kwara state governor, Abdulfatah Ahmed, announced their defections. 15 APC lawmakers and 32 House of Representatives members defected from the party last week.
