On Tuesday, 27th November 2018, The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency Response Unit, (LRU) Fire and Rescue Team commenced a 4-week training session (twice in a week)for the Fire Department of The Nigerian Army from the Resettlement Barracks Oshodi.
Earlier in the month, the LRU Firefighters were deployed to the Resettlement Barracks on a rescue operation and displayed a well-coordinated effort andstandard in discharging their duties. This impressed the Army and thus they arranged for training sessions with the LRU team.
Avantgarde Management Services, (AMS,) technical partners to LRU, has remarkably transformed the state’s emergency response and management services, and will continually partner with local communities and all stakeholders in developing socially responsible relationships. This training serves as a part of many more other activities to attaining that.
