The management of Ecobank has announced that it is temporarily shutting down its branch in Wuse II, Abuja after it was confirmed that late former managing director of Pipelines and Products Marketing Company (PPMC), Suleiman Achimugu who died of coronavirus on Monday March 23, visited the facility. 

In a statement shared on the bank’s Twitter page, it was gathered that Achimugu visited the bank on March 12 and he did not show any symptom at that time. 

All staff of the bank at the location have been placed on mandatory self-isolation for 14 days, in compliance with NCDC’s directive.
