Next week Monday till Friday has been declared public holiday the Niger state government.

The state’s Governor, Mohammed Umar Bago who had earlier said that palliatives would be shared across the state to cushion the effect of the economy on the people, added that the holiday will help in monitoring and distribution of palliatives/Ramadan feeding.

In the statement released the Commissioner of Information, Honorable Binta Mamman, it was also stated that the holiday will help Civil Servants and Political office holders participate in the distribution and monitoring of the palliatives and Ramadan feeding in their various local government areas.

Civil Servants and Political office holders have also been asked to take the task as a call for service to humanity.
