According to the Nigeria Center for Disease Control NCDC, 34 new confirmed covid-19 cases were recorded yesterday and Niger State is one of those states with new cases. This report is coming few days after the President had added two weeks to the initial lockdown and movement restriction and Niger State already observing her lockdown. Today 16th April 2020, brings the total number of covid-19 positive cases in Niger State to two. See the breakdown of new cases below:

18 were in Lagos, 12 in Kano, 2 in Katsina, 1 in Delta and 1 in Niger state.

Nigeria now has 407 confirmed cases of the viral disease with 12 deaths.
