I am Best Networks reporter was able to gather that the Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers (NUPENG) has just commenced a 3-day warning strike over failure of some multinational oil companies to address the welfare of their workers as well as continuous job losses in the oil and gas sector. This is coming after the Union had given notice some weeks back.

Reports got to us that  the Federal Government will be having a meeting with the leadership of the union today and the outcome of the meeting will determine if the strike will be continued or be called off. Though the strike have not yet halted activities in the nation yet.
