The planned peaceful protest Christian Association of Nigeria Adamawa state chapter in Adamawa state which was supposed to be held today has been canceled the  police command in Adamawa State. 

The CAN Chairman in the state, Bishop Stephen Mamza, told the Christians who had gathered for the protest as early as 9am, that the protest would no longer hold as the police has called for its cancellation. 

The Christian body had planned to march to the state governorment house where they would present a petition to the governor, Mohammed Jibrilla,. who would then present it to president Buhari.
