Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala today Monday 15th February was confirmed the newly appointed Director-General of the World Trade Organization (WTO)

She was confirmed the WTO today, February 15, after a special meeting among the members of the organization.

Several Prominent Nigerians have taken to Twitter to felicitate with the newly appointed Director-General of the World Trade Organization (WTO), Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala.

She officially became the first African and first female Director-General of the World Trade Organization. In reaction, prominent Nigerians like Senate President Ahmed Lawan, Governor of Delta State, Ifeanyi Okowa, Saraki, Peter Obi, and others congratulated her on her historic feat.
