The Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) in Zamfara state has sealed off and sanctioned three filling stations for selling above fuel pump price of N145 per litre.
The Operations Controller Ango Haruna said there was no justification for stations to sell above approved price.
He said any station claiming to have bought beyond approved cost must tender payment receipt as evidence or face sanctions.
He said the distribution of the available fuel is being effectively monitored adding that their numbers are made available to the public and who ever has any complaints as regard to the fuel price should call the numbers and his office is ever ready to respond immediately.
