I am best networks yesterday gathered that Two Federal High Court judges, Mohammed
Nasir Yunusa and Hyeladzira Ajiya Nganjiwa yesterday reported to the
Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Daily Trust learnt yesterday that the judges arrived at the Commission’s
Lagos office about 10:05 am Monday morning following an invitation
letter the EFCC extended to them.

Their invitation is said to be sequel to
the bribery and money laundering allegations the EFCC discovered during
investigations in an ongoing case in which two senior lawyers; Mr.
Rickey Tarfa (SAN) and Joseph Nwobike (SAN) have already been arraigned
in court.
Justice Nganjiwa, who serves in the Federal High Court in Yenagoa,
Bayelsa state is also allegedly ensnared in the bribery scandal.
The embattled Mr Tarfa claimed that he paid money to Justice Nganjiwa
because the judge was part of Tarfa’s Law firm before he was appointed
to the Bench in 2012.
However, his defense crumbled when EFCC investigators discovered that
part of the N5 million that he paid into Justice Nganjiwa’s account was
later routed to Justice Yunusa.
It would be recalled that the EFCC had on March 9, 2016 arraigned Rickey
Tarfa and Joseph Nwobike before a Lagos High Court on allegations of
bribery and offering gratification to a public official
