At the early hours of today, Saraki, senate president was attacked the police but When police entered the home of Bukola Saraki to effect his arrest, they didn’t find him.
Reports have it that he had surfaced in National Assembly complex, though they were waiting for him at the National Assembly Gates unknowingly, he had entered inside. And he is in the complex already where they can’t arrest him. He enjoys  parliamentary privilege within the precincts of the parliament!

Still today the following senators have written to the Senate leadership informing them of their intention to defect to the PDP
