The All Progressives Congress, APC, candidate for Zamfara Central senatorial zone, Senator Kabiru Garba Marafa has accepted his defeat the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, candidate, Hon. Ikira Aliyu Bilbis.

Marafa in a statewide broadcast on Monday, April 17, thanked the people of Zamfara Central senatorial zone for the opportunity afforded him to represent them between 2011 and 2019.

The former senator also thanked Governor Bello Matawalle for standing byhim to ensure that he contested the senatorial election for the third time.
