The 2023 population and housing census earlier scheduled for March 29, has been postponed bythe Federal Government.

Lai Mohammed, minister of information and culture, confirmed the postponement on Wednesday, March 15, at the end of the federal executive council (FEC) meeting presided over byPresident Muhammadu Buhari in Abuja.

He said the census will now hold in May. Reasons for postponement wasn’t stated.
